Creative Beginnings to Marketing

Food perfume. This was the business idea that I thought at 10 years old would put me into the complex world of business. Growing up, I had always been interested in the idea of business and new, bizarre business ideas I could create on a whim. I told my dad about these aspirations and he asked me if I was actually in business, what product(s) would create. I pondered on his question for a while, every idea that was coming to me was either unoriginal or too farfetched. After a few days, I had finally come up with my idea: food perfume. This came to me when I made an omelet that smelled putrid but was delectable. I thought to myself what could possibly make this omelet smell better rather than having to breathe from my mouth while eating and the idea struck. Creating a redolent and edible fragrance to mask the heavy scent of any food that many like, but won't eat solely because of the smell.
Unfortunately, I never put my idea into motion, however, this sparked my interest in going into business, specifically marketing. Marketing opens the door to ideas just like mine and many others. The marketing industry produces a creative outlet in every product that is marketed, which is what inclined me towards this field in the first place. I want to continue exploring the various interesting aspects of marketing and hope to be a large part of this field some day.
